…. claim your household costs. If you work from home, you can claim allowable expenses using a flat rate based on the hours you work from home each month. This means you don’t have to work out the portion of personal and business use for your home (e.g. how much of your utility bills are business). Telephone and internet charges are not included in this flat rate, so you claim the business portions of these bills by working out actual costs. The simplified table below from HMRC website can be used if you work 25 hours or more from home a month.
